Who we are

Data we collect
• You provide: name, contact, address, order data, account login (hashed), communications, reviews, marketing preferences.
• Automatic: device info, IP, usage data, cookies, approximate location.
• Third parties: payment processors (GoKwik), couriers (Bluedart), marketing platforms (Meta, Google, WhatsApp), Google login.
Why & lawful basis
• Order fulfilment, delivery, payments, fraud prevention — contractual/legal.
• Marketing — consent (withdrawable). Personalisation & site improvement — legitimate interest. Tax/GST — legal obligation.
Payments
• We don't store full card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs, or banking credentials. Processed by PCI-DSS gateways including GoKwik.
Sharing
• We never sell your data. Shared only as needed with Shopify, GoKwik, couriers, Meta/Google (hashed data for ads), WhatsApp/email/SMS providers, review/support tools, cloud storage — all under data agreements.
• Disclosed to authorities when legally required; transfers on merger with 30 days' notice.
Cookies & marketing
• Necessary, performance, advertising, and functional cookies — manage via the banner or “Cookie Preferences” footer link.
• Marketing (email/SMS/WhatsApp/push) only with opt-in; opt out anytime. Transactional messages continue.
Your DPDP rights
• Access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal, nomination, withdrawal of consent. Email care@aureasterling.com (“DPDP Request”); resolved within 30 days. Escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security & retention
• SSL/TLS encryption, hashed credentials, access controls, audits. No system is 100% secure; breaches notified per DPDP Act.
• Order records kept 8 years (tax/GST); account data while active + 3 years; other data per purpose.
Other
• For users 18+. Some providers process data outside India under standard safeguards. Not responsible for third-party site practices. Material changes notified at least 7 days prior.
