SHIPPING POLICY — AUREA STERLING

Every Aurea Sterling piece deserves a journey as considered as its making.

We've built our shipping and delivery experience to feel as premium as the jewellery inside the box — secure packaging, careful handling, and timely updates from the moment your order is placed until it reaches your doorstep.

This policy explains how we ship, what to expect, how delivery timelines work, and how Partial COD orders are processed.


 

1. Shipping coverage

We currently ship to all serviceable pincodes across India. International shipping is not available at this time.

If your pincode is not serviceable by our delivery partners, you will be notified at checkout. In rare cases where serviceability changes after order placement, we will contact you within 48 hours to arrange a refund or alternate solution.


 

2. Shipping charges

Shipping is FREE on all orders across India — regardless of order value, product category, or payment method. No hidden charges, no minimum cart value, no surprises at checkout.

This includes all standard deliveries within India for both Prepaid and Partial COD orders.


 

3. Payment methods at checkout

Aurea Sterling offers two payment options:

3.1 Prepaid (recommended)

Pay the full order amount upfront via:

UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM, and others)
Credit / debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express)
Net banking
Wallets supported by our payment gateway
EMI on eligible cards

Prepaid orders are confirmed instantly and dispatched on priority.

3.2 Partial COD (Cash on Delivery)

We offer Partial COD to make ordering easier while ensuring serious, committed purchases. Full Cash on Delivery is not available.

How Partial COD works:

Pay a non-refundable advance of ₹199 online via UPI / card / net banking at checkout
The advance amount is deducted from your total order value
Pay the balance amount in cash to our delivery partner at the time of delivery

Important terms for Partial COD:

The ₹199 advance is refundable only if you cancel the order before it has been dispatched from our warehouse. Once the order is dispatched, the ₹199 advance becomes non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation, refusal, or RTO (Return to Origin).
To cancel a Partial COD order, please email care@aureasterling.com or WhatsApp +91 9998496004 as soon as possible. Cancellation requests received after dispatch will not be processed for refund of the ₹199 advance.
Dispatch typically occurs within 24–48 hours of order placement on business days. To maximise your cancellation window, please raise cancellation requests promptly.
If the order is undelivered for any reason (refused at door, address unavailable, wrong number, COD payment refused at delivery), the ₹199 advance is forfeited to cover our forward shipping and processing costs.
Discount codes and promotional offers may be applied to Partial COD orders on the full order value, as displayed at checkout.

 

4. Order processing & dispatch

4.1 Processing time

Prepaid orders: Processed and dispatched within 24–48 business hours of payment confirmation.
Partial COD orders: Processed and dispatched within 24–48 business hours after the ₹199 advance payment is received.
Business days: Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.
Pre-orders & customised pieces: Dispatch timelines for limited drops, pre-orders, or personalised/engraved pieces will be displayed on the product page and may extend up to 7–10 business days.

4.2 Order confirmation

Once your order is confirmed, you will receive:

An order confirmation email with order ID and item details
An SMS / WhatsApp confirmation to your registered mobile number

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:

A dispatch confirmation with courier name and tracking number (AWB)
A tracking link to follow your shipment in real time

 

5. Delivery timelines

We deliver across India through trusted courier partners including Shiprocket, Delhivery, Bluedart, XpressBees, India Post, and others depending on your pincode.

Please note: delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Actual delivery may be affected by factors beyond our control — including but not limited to weather, courier delays, regional disruptions, festive season volumes, and local lockdowns. We will keep you updated via SMS, email, and WhatsApp throughout the journey.


 

6. Order tracking

Track your order anytime by:

Clicking the tracking link sent via SMS, email, and WhatsApp
Visiting aureasterling.com/track and entering your order ID and registered phone number
Emailing care@aureasterling.com with your order ID
WhatsApp / call +91 9998496004 (Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST)

Tracking information becomes active within 24 hours of dispatch.


 

7. Packaging

Every Aurea Sterling order ships in:

Tamper-evident outer packaging to ensure security in transit
Premium branded gift box (suitable for direct gifting)
Anti-tarnish pouch / cloth for jewellery protection
Care card with instructions for long-term shine and durability
Authenticity card indicating material composition (925 Sterling Silver or 18K Gold Vermeil)

If your order is intended as a gift, you can leave a note at checkout — we'll ensure no invoice or pricing is included inside the shipment.


 

8. Delivery attempts & failed deliveries

Our courier partners will attempt delivery up to 3 times at the address provided.

If the delivery fails due to:

Recipient unavailable / unreachable
Incorrect or incomplete address
Wrong / unanswered phone number
Refusal to accept delivery
Refusal to pay the COD balance amount on Partial COD orders

…the order will be marked as RTO (Return to Origin) and shipped back to our warehouse.

Consequences of RTO on Partial COD orders:

The ₹199 advance is non-refundable (as per Section 3.2)
No additional refund is due, since no balance payment was collected

Consequences of RTO on Prepaid orders:

Once the returned order reaches our warehouse and is inspected, we will issue a refund of the prepaid amount minus actual shipping costs incurred (forward + reverse shipping). Refund will be processed within 5–7 business days of receipt at warehouse.

Repeated RTO behaviour: We reserve the right to block customers from future Partial COD orders if there is a history of repeated RTO, refusal, or non-payment. Such customers may only place future orders via Prepaid mode.


 

9. Damaged, missing, or wrong items received

We do our best to ensure every order reaches you in perfect condition. However, if you receive a parcel that is:

Damaged or tampered with on the outside (broken seal, crushed box, visible tear)
Missing items from the order
Wrong item / wrong size / wrong style compared to your order

Please follow these steps within 24 hours of delivery:

1. Do NOT open or use the product if outer tampering is visible
2. Take clear photos / a short unboxing video of:
The outer packaging (all 6 sides)
The shipping label
The product as received
3. Email the evidence to care@aureasterling.com with subject line "Damaged / Wrong Item — Order #[YOUR ORDER ID]"
4. Alternatively, WhatsApp the photos / video to +91 9998496004

Once verified, we will arrange a free replacement, exchange, or refund as per our Return & Refund Policy.

Note: Claims raised after 24 hours of delivery, or without supporting photo/video evidence, may not be eligible for resolution. We recommend filming an unboxing video for all jewellery orders — it takes 30 seconds and protects both parties.


 

10. Address changes

Before dispatch: Address changes can be requested via care@aureasterling.com or WhatsApp. We will accommodate where logistically possible.
After dispatch: Address changes are at the courier's discretion and cannot be guaranteed. In most cases, the original address will be honoured.

For Partial COD orders, please note that requesting a changed address does not extend the cancellation window for the ₹199 advance refund.


 

11. Reverse pickup & returns

All returns, exchanges, and reverse pickups are governed by our separate Return & Refund Policy and Exchange Policy, available in the website footer.


 

12. Special order types

12.1 Pre-orders / limited drops

Some collections are released as limited drops or pre-orders. Dispatch timelines for these will be clearly displayed on the product page and in the order confirmation. Pre-order timelines may extend up to 15 business days.

12.2 Personalised / engraved jewellery

Custom engraving and personalisation adds 2–4 business days to the standard dispatch timeline. Personalised pieces are non-returnable and non-exchangeable except in cases of manufacturing defect.

12.3 Festive & high-volume periods

During major festivals (Diwali, Raksha Bandhan, Valentine's Day, Christmas, end-of-year sales) and high-volume sale events, dispatch and delivery timelines may extend by 1–3 business days. We will display advisory banners on the Site during such periods.


 

13. Force majeure

Aurea Sterling shall not be liable for delays or failures in delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters, floods, earthquakes
Pandemics, lockdowns, government restrictions
Strikes, civil unrest, war
Courier strikes or service disruptions
Air / rail / road network breakdowns
Power, internet, or payment gateway outages

In such events, we will keep you informed and resume normal service as soon as possible.
